Why are your prices different to traditional jewellery stores?
We operate a wholesale-direct business model, allowing customers to purchase directly rather than through a traditional retail mark-up structure. Pricing varies depending on the diamond, metal and design selected.
Can I view diamonds before purchasing?
Yes. We carefully curate natural and lab-grown diamonds that can be viewed in our Gold Coast showroom. Walk-ins are welcome during showroom hours, or you can book an appointment.
Is CTJ open to the public?
Yes. Although we operate with a wholesale-direct business model, members of the public are welcome to walk in during showroom hours or book an appointment. Customers receive personalised guidance rather than a traditional retail sales experience.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with the same physical, chemical and optical properties as natural diamonds. The difference is origin: natural diamonds formed underground over billions of years, while lab-grown diamonds are created in controlled laboratory environments.
Are natural diamonds better than lab-grown diamonds?
Neither option is better than the other, it comes down to what matters most to you. Natural diamonds are valued for their geological rarity. Lab-grown diamonds have the same properties but sit at a lower purchase price, as they can be grown predictably in a much shorter time frame. Both vary in quality and light performance, which is why it is important not to buy on grading reports alone.
How long does a custom engagement ring take?
Most custom engagement rings are completed within approximately 2-3 weeks, although timing can vary depending on design complexity, diamond availability and workshop scheduling.
Do you design custom engagement rings?
Yes. We work with you to create a custom engagement ring tailored to your chosen diamond, style preferences and budget. The process includes consultation, design refinement and manufacturing before final quality inspection.

Our showroom is on the Gold Coast, Queensland. We assist customers locally, throughout South East Queensland and Australia-wide, with many purchases completed remotely through phone, email and video consultations.
